Product description
For extended stays outdoors with lost of gear, the Abisko Shape 2 is a good choice! For Fjällräven has equipped this 2-man tent with a roomy vestibule, used high-quality materials and made sure that the tunnel tent doesn't take up too much room in your pack. The materials for the outer tent, inner tent, the floor, the poles as well as the guy lines and pegs are all of the finest quality. Sturdy, lightweight and reliable were what Fjällräven was going for! The fly consists of Ripstop fabric with four layers of silicone and a hydrostatic head of 3,000mm. The floor is PU coated and has a hydrostatic head 6,000mm. When it comes to the seams, however, the experts at Fjällräven proved themselves to be particularly clever! They are folded and sewn shut with a special expandable thread. This makes it possible for four layers of fabric to be connected, which provides more stability and eliminates having to seal and reseal high-maintenance seams. Since the inner tent and outer tent are connected, pitching the tent is quick and easy. Plus, the inner tent won't get wet if you have to pitch it in bad weather. The external pole sleeves are colour-coded. The DAC NSL Featherlite aluminium poles are the perfect addition and very light and sturdy! The vestibule will give you enough room to store your gear and cook, if necessary. The ventilation coming from the vents can be increased on warm nights by rolling up the head and foot end of the tent. The no-see-um mesh mosquito net will provide the necessary protection from both mosquitos and nosy neighbours.
