This is made possible by the extremely hardwearing new wool from Pantex, which is unusually tightly woven, wind-repellent and yet breathable. This wool insulates in both wet and dry conditions. Thanks to its complex fibre structure, it can absorb up to 30 per cent of its own weight in water without feeling damp or clammy. Two layers of wool cover most of the upper body, exactly where it’s needed most.
