Four-season trekking tent with a long sleeping surface
The Vela I Extreme 1-person tent from Exped is built to protect you from the elements and keep you comfortable thanks to the long sleeping area. It’s suitable for multi-day hikes, treks, mountaineering and cycling all year round. It only weighs 2 kg, and you can fold it down to a size of 42 x 12 cm. As a result, you can easily store it in your backpack.
Compact tent for outdoor adventures
The spacious Vela I Extreme measures 245 x 112 cm on the inside. With a maximum internal height of 95 cm, you can comfortably sit inside. Plus, thanks to the long sleeping surface, taller people with an XL sleeping bag can lie down comfortably. Additional space is provided by the weather-protected vestibule. On the inside, it’s made of a 30D ripstop nylon material and has a black No-See-Um mosquito net that offers visibility, while also protecting you against insects.
The tent is supported by a lightweight and stable DAC Featherlite NSL 9mm TH72M pole. As for the durable tent floor, it has a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm, keeping out the rain and moisture. In addition, you can buy the matching Vela I Footprint from Exped for maximum protection against dirt, moisture and damage. Completed by a double-sided silicone coating on the fly sheet, the Exped tent will even keep out persistent and heavy rain in the mountains.
