The SIM Lite 3.8 from Exped is a classic among self-inflating sleeping mats! This compact and comfortable sleeping mat is suitable for camping, travelling and trekking tours. The outer material is made from a soft, recycled and brushed polyester with an embossed honeycomb structure. Plus, the fill is made from dense PU foam, which is soft yet durable, firm and dimensionally stable, so there is no chance of sagging during the night.

Featherweight construction without loss of comfort

SIM simply stands for "Self-inflating Mat" and is the ideal compromise between an air-filled trekking mat and a thick 3D basecamp mat. The SIM mat offers a slightly heavier sleeping surface than a pure air mat and also has a slightly larger pack size. On the other hand, it is therefore more comfortable and warmer and can be packed much more compactly than other sleeping mats with an insulating fill. Here in the Lite range, internal air channels are also added to reduce weight and pack size without compromising on comfort!
