Beautiful, functional and sustainable! Made in Germany using organic Germany wool, the Women's Jacke mit Kapuze is a wool jacket from Engel Natur from the German town of Pfullingen. The great thing about this company is that all of their manufacturing processes (dying, transport, etc.) have been designed to make as little environmental impact as possible. The jacket itself is durable and naturally functional. The thick wool material used for the jacket hardly lets any wind in and can absorb a lot of water without feeling wet. Plus, it is pretty resistant to odours and can be aired out outside when necessary. With the two hand-warmer pockets and the thick hood, the jacket boasts a cool, casual look that is great for everyday wear. In between seasons, you can wear the jacket as your outermost layer. In winter, the jacket works great as a mid-layer under a winter jacket as well. The Jacke mit Kapuze from Engel is a great choice for hill walkers who appreciate the sustainability and function of the traditional natural material that is virgin wool! Note: Engel products are made in Germany. The wool used for the products is from organic farms in Patagonia.
