The high-quality rubber compound BlackChili combines grip, rolling resistance and durability. In doing so, Continental relies on the best polymers and carbon black particles and fillers that are optimised down to the nanometre range to make the basic conflict between grip and rolling resistance as low as possible. Plus, the TL technology is specifically designed to adapt to a tubeless system for the demands of road cycling. It’s easy to assemble and reliable. Specially developed, the tubeless foot seals well due to its shape and ensures a stable hold on the rim. The lasered micro-tread structure Lazer Grip concentrates on the shoulder area of the tyre, giving you increased cornering grip. In addition, the side walls consist of 3 layers with a protective layer. This not only improves the puncture protection of the sidewalls, but also ensures a more stable running of the tyre at lower air pressure.
