An ascender for maximum efficiency
The C.A.M.P. Turbochest ascender’s specialised design significantly reduces wear on both the rope and the device. Its carefully engineered geometry keeps it securely in position during rope crossings and traverses, greatly improving safety in use.
A catch mechanism with a double tension spring keeps the rope optimally positioned for added safety. The removable pull cord makes the ascender easy to operate, even with gloves on and in challenging conditions.
The Turbochest can also be used as a pulley with an integrated rope clamp, for example to lift equipment weighing up to 50 kg. The cams have a wear-resistant treatment and stand up to dirt, mud and ice.
