A triangular quick link like the Camp Delta Quick Link Steel has an incredible breaking strength and is often used for industrial climbing. Plus, these little things can be used for complex rope manoeuvres during mountain rescue missions, route setting, industrial climbing and much more! The possibilities are virtually endless!
The Camp Delta Quick Link Steel is available in 8mm or 10mm, but the thicker option is almost twice the weight of the thinner one. The good thing about these quick links is the fact that they can be removed. However, it will only work if the quick link hasn't been exposed to the elements for an extended period of time. Plus, you need the right tool! The 8 mm requires a 14 mm wrench and the 10 mm requires a 17 mm wrench. Of course, the quick links underwent the necessary tests as well. Both versions of the Delta Quick Link Steel by Camp not only comply with both relevant EN standards but also meet the requirements of the much stricter UIAA standard.
