If you’re in the market for a tough hardshell jacket with softshell inserts, and that’s made for alpine use, then look no further than the Women’s Dawn Patrol Hybrid Shell from Black Diamond. It’s guaranteed to protect you against the elements, whilst regulating the microclimate inside. Featuring the BD.dry 3-layer technology, the jacket is permanently windproof and waterproof. It’s also equipped with an eco-friendly and water-repellent GTT Empel DWR treatment on the outer that prevents moisture from getting through the fabric. As a result, rain will simply roll off the jacket’s surface. Another advantage is the softshell inserts on the inside that will let moisture be wicked away to the outside to keep you both warm and dry.
Thanks to the Women’s Dawn Patrol Hybrid Shell’s breathability, a pleasant microclimate is ensured at all times. Most importantly, ventilation openings with mesh inserts can be opened when you need to cool down.
