The Iron Cruiser Via Ferrata Set from Black Diamond is perfect for beginners as well as advanced via ferrata climbers. The set will effectively protect you in a vertical environment thanks to the two Iron Cruiser safety carabiners and the innovative Dyneema Energy Absorption System, which will reduce the load impact in the event of a fall.
The two Iron Cruiser carabiners have a sliding locking sleeve that you can operate with one hand and with gloves on. Between the carabiners and the energy absorber is an elastic, bungee-style lanyard, so you’ll be able to attach it to a steel cable that’s a bit further away. The loop that attaches to your climbing harness is designed for users weighing 40 to 120 kg in compliance with the EN 958 (2017) standard.
