Lightweight down jacket with a HyperDRY down fill
The Approach Down Hoody from Black Diamond is a warm jacket for multi-pitch routes. In winter, you can use it as an insulating midlayer when mountaineering or ice climbing. It’s made of an ultra-light nylon ripstop fabric with a PFC-free DWR treatment and a high-quality fill made from RDS-certified HyperDRY goose down.

The Approach Down Hoody from Black Diamond offers good weather protection and toasty warmth. With a fill power of 800 cuin and a ratio of 90% down and 10% feather, it’s both lightweight and warm. Thanks to the raised collar and insulated hood, the down jacket will also protect your neck and head during mountain sports.
The Black Diamond jacket has an athletic and form-fitting cut. It’s equipped with zipped side pockets and a zipped chest pocket to store your valuables. In addition, the jacket can be stored in its own pocket, so it’ll easily fit in your mountaineering backpack. Completed by a carabiner loop, you can attach it to your climbing harness or the outside of your backpack.
