The Backland FR 32+ from Atomic is a ski touring rucksack with a 32-litre capacity for longer days in the snow. Its main compartment is a top-loading design with a roll-top closure, so you can pack flexibly and adjust the volume to suit your needs. That makes the rucksack ideal for carrying more comprehensive touring kit.
Secure fit, comfortable to carry
The chest strap and hip belt ensure a secure fit, whilst padded shoulder straps improve carrying comfort and help distribute the load more evenly. The rucksack is also hydration-system compatible, so you can drink easily whilst on the move. When you need to grab your gear quickly at the trailhead, at the hut or during transfers, the integrated carry handle is a practical addition.
Clearly organised and easy to access
For tidy organisation on ski tours, there is a crampon compartment, a front zip pocket, a side pocket and a key clip. A helmet carrier and rope attachment on the outside keep essential gear securely stowed and close at hand. The PU-coated material and water-repellent finish help keep out snow and light moisture.
