If you’re in the market for a warm, waterproof and windproof road cycling jacket for training in the colder season, then you’ve got to take a look at the Mille GT Ultraz Winter Jacket Evo from Assos! It was specially designed for the tough demands of winter.
A great choice of materials
The jacket features a NEOS Light textile on the front and upper back, which is an extremely lightweight three-layer softshell material with a sealed PU membrane that offers waterproof and windproof properties. As a result, the snow, rain and the cold wind will be kept at bay. Plus, the Light membrane combined with the brushed, breathable and warm RX Heavy material on the inside offers warmth and comfort. As for the sleeves, they feature a twinDeck construction, which is made of a thinner NEOS Ultra material. They also have a brushed 652.RX coating on the inside for added protection and comfort. In addition, these materials were not sewn together at the hem. This allows you to integrate your gloves seamlessly between the layers of fabric for more comfort. Another great feature includes the breathable and firm centre back panel, which is framed on both sides by other panels made of the three-layer NEOS Medium and RX Heavy. The use of three NEOS Softshell textiles makes the overall jacket more lightweight and breathable at strategic places.
