If you’re in the market for road cycling trousers for training in winter, then you need to take a closer look at the Mille GT Ultraz Winter Bib Tights from Assos.
A great choice of materials
Made of winterproof materials, they’re guaranteed to offer great insulation, breathability and weather resistance. Additional protection is provided by the two-layer construction and the membrane in the front. Plus, they have an insulating, brushed RX Heavy material with a second layer of fabric incorporated on the outside for extra protection.
This twinDeck design consists of the NEOS Ultra textile, which is an ultrathin, two-layer softshell material with a sealed PU membrane. Not only is it waterproof, but also 100% windproof. As a result, your lower half will be able to brave the elements and be fully protected from the snow, rain, wind and cold. The back of the legs are made of RX Light, which is breathable and more comfortable.
In addition, the Ultraz has a "regularFit”, which means they’re slightly compressive where necessary thanks to the two-layer design, but they aren’t as tight as the racingFit. Plus, they have sewn-in, articulated leg panels that’ll wrap around your thigh muscles, knees and calves and conform to your every movement. The MILLE Winter Insert, which is sewn into the RX layer with inverted seams perfectly completes the bib tights.
