The Rock DFS II GTX shoes from AKU are ideal for technical approaches and easy climbing. They offer an excellent balance between comfort and performance thanks to their Dual Fit system, which allows both maximum comfort on the approach and a precise fit when climbing. These shoes are perfect for via ferratas and hikes on mountain trails, even in the rain.
Comfort and durability
In addition, the Rock DFS II GTX shoes are equipped with an asymmetric EVA and PU midsole that utilises the AKU Elica Natural Stride System, which promotes biodynamic efficiency. An abrasion-resistant suede, textile and microfibre upper is complemented by a rubber rand that protects the shoes when climbing. Meanwhile, the Vibram Approcciosa sole with Megagrip compound offers maximum traction and is specially designed for climbing.
Functional with a sophisticated lacing system
The shoes also feature a GORE-TEX membrane to ensure good breathability and waterproof properties. Plus, the Dual Fit System enables you to adjust the fit to your liking. This consists of a traditional lacing system for maximum comfort on the approach, with a speed lacing system for greater sensitivity and precision when climbing, even on the narrowest footholds.
